The Miami Heat overwhelmed the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5 last night 121-106, to win the franchise second NBA title and LeBron James’ first. A Bird Story
A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold; the bird froze up and fell to the ground in a large field. While it was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on it. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, it began to realize how warm it was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.

It is sad to hear the passing of the iconic science fiction writer, Ray Bradbury, at the age of 91. Bradbury’s most famous novels - Fahrenheit 451 and the Martian Chronicles - were two of my favorite reads in high school. In fact, they were, along with some of John Steinbeck and George Orwell novels, the only stories that really piqued my interest and I was able to read all the way...
