Game Six One For The Ages →
St Louis Cardinals’ improbable win - twice down to the very last strike and last out from losing the 2011 World Series to the betting favorites, Texas Rangers - displayed tremendous resiliency and clutch hitting in extra innings to steal Game Six and force a Game Seven in what many are saying was the greatest World Series game ever played!
Tim Kurkjian, ESPN Baseball Analyst, called it...

goddessofscrumptiousness: Oh my gosh!!! Finally you decided to open a food blog Andrew!!! I always was wondering and hoping you’d start one considering you are already a food pornographer on fb! :) Yey!!!
ocandrew1 (me): If I am going to seduce people with photos, why not to a broader audience? But don't expect me to measure up to anything remotely resembling your quality of cooking and almost equally adept skill in photography. I'll just simply stick to eating and occasionally snapping a shot of what I'm about to devour. :)
goddessofscrumptiousness: I tagged 4 of your photos on #food, and you made top contributor… I am guessing you already have some followers, so I hope that is a good reason/motivation to keep posting food porn. Andrew, your food pics are great, I always get hungry, and you take pictures well! :)

This heatwave just came out of nowhere! A scorching 105 degrees today! And it’s suppose to be nearly as hot tomorrow. That is 30 degrees warmer than it should be this time of the year in Fullerton! It is suffocating and I’m feeling antsy. And it was pouring rain just six days ago! Isn’t that when I said Fall was definitely here? Don’t think so! Not yet!
Exhausted,...

Nicknames
We’ve all had nicknames. I’ve certainly had my fair share. There were nicknames and then those that were just malicious, cowardly name calling. Anyway, the nicknames…I had many but few stuck with me. Of course I have often had others shorten my name by calling me Drew (like) or Andy (don’t like). But the nicknames were Sulu, Bolo, Young or Young Master, Mochi, John Wayne...

Let’s see…weight gain, stress, cholesterol level up (but kidney no longer elevated) and clothes fitting tighter.. Time to reevaluate my eating habits. I can’t get into the gym anymore than I already do. I will have to stop eating so late in the evening, cut out red meat except on weekends, try to eliminate carbohydrates that do not come from vegetables and all refined starches...

Apple's Steve Jobs Dies →
The world lost a true giant today. A brilliant innovator and marketer, the Apple co-founder was an unparalleled creative genius and perhaps the greatest CEO and visionary of our time. His impact will be felt for generations. He has done more to change our world today in the way we communicate, play and access information than anyone of the technology era. Jobs was the Thomas Edison of my...

It’s raining hard today. A sure sign that Fall is here. This year is moving so fast! It saddens me a bit. I had set out to do so much and accomplished very little. It has, nonetheless, been a busy year. And this is not to say it hasn’t been a productive one either. There have been those breakthroughs. Monumental ones. Still, I am not ready to see the year end. I have two more months to...

Grim News on the Forgotten War: The War on Drugs
2 Powerful Cartels Dominate in Mexico Drug War - Sent via the FOX News Android App.
Interesting news on where the Mexican government stands in a bloody war it has waged against the powerful drug cartels.
